Veridex, a brand name drug from Turkey, has been reported as containing the breast cancer medicine anastrozole.

In the U.S. anastrozole is known as Arimidex. This is also the most common brand name for anastrozole worldwide, found in over 100 countries.

Anastrozole is approved by the FDA:

to treat breast cancer in postmenopausal women

How is anastrozole taken?
In an adult, anastrozole (Arimidex) is taken by mouth as one oral tablet once a day. It is supplied as a 1 mg tablet.
It can be taken with or without food.
This medicine is usually continued until your breast cancer progresses, you have intolerable side effects, or your doctor decides to discontinue the medication for other reasons.
