I used some Vibrams for lifting about 10 years ago. I generally liked them but after I wore them out I ended up going back to my Chuck Taylors for lifting. Still have no worn them out.

Been wearing them for 14 years now for lifting, running and everyday use. I started with Vibrams, moved to New Balance and now wearing Xero, which are by far the best.
If it doesn't scare you, it is not heavy enough.

I tried them but have really high arches and get shin splints if I run 100 yards in them. Hell I can't even wear them to walk around in.
