The New Guy
« on: January 11, 2023, 07:00:15 pm »
What's up brothers!?! I'm 35 years old, I've been bodybuilding for over a decade. My lifestyle is the gym, even for my kids.
I have 4 amazing little boys. We all workout together in our spare time. That's probably one of my proudest achievements; being a good father.
My oldest son is currently into powerlifting and serves on a team of about 10 other lifters and they compete state wide.
My second oldest: he's a boxer. Loves MMA and I've been training him since he was 8. He just started driving. He's a monster. :))
I love helping people, I love being inspired as much as inspiring.
I'm trying to talk myself into a YouTube channel with my wife and kids called "Fit Family" or something cliche like that. Lol. I dunno, people have told me that we should and I'm super nervous and overly intimidated about it.
Anyway, I'm currently in a bulking meso for my legs. Trying to bring my legs up more to hopefully compete within the next year or so. I know I'm not there now, and I know my genetics aren't superior or the best, but I just want to give it my all one good time.
I'm excited to be a part of this group and I want to learn more and sit back and rake in the knowledge I'm sure most of you have through your experiences.
It's nice to be here and be a part.

Nice intro brother, welcome!
If it doesn't scare you, it is not heavy enough.

I appreciate all the hospitality brothers. I'm glad to be here.
I've been reading a lot of threads and I'm highly intrigued. It's hard to scroll past so many good topics.

Welcome brother.

I always say that of all the things I have done and believe me, I have some stories.....  The thing I am most proud of, is my children.  I was raised by wolves and I tried very hard to give them what I never had and they are the greatest and most well adjusted kids.  I got that right.  I may have fucked up a lot of shit but that one thing, I did that right.  Awesome intro and welcome.

That's EXACTLY right my friend! I've screwed up more times than I can count. But I am so thankfull for the resilience of my children. I've had full custody of them for almost 6 years now. It's been tough without any help but we've made the most of what we had.
They need nothing, thank God. They want plenty, but they're good kids and while I can't give them everything they want, they love me anyway.
Those little guys think I hung the moon!! They're my entire life.
I teach them MMA and boxing, bodybuilding and I teach them about God and country.
They've told me that is some of their fondest memories. Not money or doing expensive vacations- but simple little quality time is what matters most to them.
I have just learned that they don't really need things, they need ME. Just my time and my presence makes a huge difference in their quality of daily life.
I'm convinced fatherhood is probably the most important thing in America today.
