It is 50 here now, will be low 20s f by noon with this huge cold front. Will be 12 f by morning.
Hope the power does not go out again. that sucked, but now I have a generator, heaters and am more prepared.

At a warm top temp of 27 here compared to the rest of you folks. Still too cold and windy to walk my dog. I don't know how Canadians and far east coasters do it year after year

Ehh... They are free range and do their own thing. If they want to go in, they can go in. I haven't seen any sign of them, so I can only assume they went in.
Yeah chickens are dumb but they do know what cold is and will sometimes protect their own lives. Hell if one is smart enough the rest will normally follow.
11 degrees today, high of 25. forecast says 68 degrees a day or two after Christmas.

My good pal had his shop roof damaged by the high winds thursday. I went yesterday and helped him repair it. It was 15 degrees. I am not built for cold. I could barely do anything as I was so bundled up. We did get the roof fixed and he bought me a nice cigar for my troubles.
Jg, what kind of Cigars do you like wife's brother has some type of Cigar night at his liquor store, He has a lounge. A nice setup. I never got into this. I joke with him all the time telling him you waste this nice room for cigars? Lol. Let me know what you like, I see if I can grab some for ya. He is always offering them to me.
I know I'm late to the party I got out just before the blizzard hit. Flew to Ft Myers got stranded 2 extra days but it gave them time to get it cleaned up here to some extent. Yes I live close to Buffalo and until you lived it you can't imagine pictures do it no justice like all disasters. I did shoot down to Ft. Myers beach to see the actual damage horrible and like I said the pictures just don't describe what I saw
