The bickering, name calling on other Boards. Have You guys seen this on Boards

I'm on a few other boards.  I assume these guys are grown A _ _ men fighting and name-calling.  Who has time to fight on the keypad?   I'm told this is from years ago. I'm told most of these guys are from boards they left or were banned, and they carry over to other boards.  Any of you vets or Elites can explain this?  Who is Meso board? I hear this board and a (Home of Pain) going at it all the time.    This is nuts.  It's such a turnoff.  They have almost a year posting on one board.

I avoid those boards. The minute I sense drama, I am out. That is why WCBB has been my home since 2004. I am over at The Iron Den, but even that has more drama than I care for.

It's one of the oldest bodybuilding message boards starting some time in the 1990's.

Every board has had members that were idiots. It's usually the "know-it-alls" who refuse
to listen to anybody else's opinions that cause all the drama. Good board owners/administrators/mods.
will enforce a "no name-calling" rule and ban anybody that breaks it.

Over the years there have been many Vets/Vip's get caught up with some @sshat and end up getting themselves banned. So...yes, it's nuts to say the least...

I don’t do the drama or the tough guy shit.  I tried a few boards over the years but left quickly.  I was a member at WCBB since early 2004 and after looking at a couple of other boards, I stopped looking and stayed at WCBB.  I came here because of you and my boys here.  I got no need or desire for anything else.  Everything I need or want from a board is here.  My friends, my pet med supply chain, my information......  I am set.

That was a good thing about WCBB, zero tolerance for flaming, same as here. Its nice having adult conversations.

Yeah if I was on a board with a bunch of guys acting like bickering women I would be gone. I will just follow the old WCBB crew around. People usually get on my nerves but so far these guys have not.

There was a time when I understood why it was happening in several places. A lot seemed to stem from elitefitness back in the day- they were huge and set a tone for other boards. The board owner managed to piss off quite a few people over there. Hence I moved myself over to the afboard. That place was fantastic but a large bit of political talk and bantering really ruined the feel and tone of it in my opinion.

The board survivors from the late 90's and early 2000's usually don't stay at those drama boards long. They find places like, WCBB, TID or here and make it their home board. Who needs that kind of negativity in their life?

elite, damn I'm old. That was my first board. So much bs. I've always stuck to a hand full of boards and for the longest time it was WCBB only. It's good to be places like here now that have several of us old timers, sure do miss a lot of the others that disappeared into the sunset or took the stairway to heaven though.

Couldn't agree more. I remember writing Duchaine from his ads in muscle mags back when connecting to internet sounded like a bomb alert. Went back and forth about zambon amps and primo amps and taking ventipulmin lol. The? Found EF. What a sh!t show. All the little cliques and telling newbies they looked like crap. I was so glad when AB started up and I moved there. So so many small knit boards since then too. Miss a lot of ppl. And may some greats RIP.
