Does it help?  I have two people.  They tell me nothing helps.  Except them sitting down.    They said it's tight.  The pain feels like knots but they say they only feel tightness and pain.  I refered them to pain mangement.  Maybe they have a shot.  But this may only stop the pain and not cure,

For sure, but you must do it every day. I used to have to get shots to dull the pain. I am off all meds.

When the psoas is tight and weak it hurts. Strengthen it over months and it will cure some or most of the pain. Now I am the opposite, if I do not workout and do my stretches, sitting causes me pain. Pain management with shots and pain pills does nothing but help reduce pain. A strong core and supporting muscles and tendons will fix many peoples probs.

I have L5 fused to S1 and L3-L5 I was told they would need to be fused eventually, sooner rather than later. That was 34 years ago and my back has gotten BETTER even with partially herniated discs. One must do these exercises religiously and like I said, it takes months to get close to a full pain reduction/recovery. But even in a month, one will feel better.
