Once I was able to get my glucose under control, not only was I able to easily lose the fat, but it has been super easy to maintain 10-12% BF.
If it doesn't scare you, it is not heavy enough.

Stop ingesting carbs after 3:00 PM and just do protein and salads.  No sugar dressing.  Hour of cardio normal but not too slow pace will do it.  Start here and check readings hour later.

25- grams of carbs after first meal should work.  If you're not too active doing day.  Do something.  You most burn glucose.   You must get liver. to use the store  glucagon.

When I ingest carbs on non-workout days.  I will add insulin with those meals.

(IMPORTANT YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE RUNNING HIGH SUGARS ALL DAY0.  YOU WILL PEE YOUR BRAINS OUT ALL NIGHT AND NEED GLASSES).  LOWER THE SUGAR LOSE THE GLASSES AND STIP WAKING UP PISSING. IGNORE NIGHT HUNGAR AND SLEEP WELL.

You don't eed to hire.  Let chat.  It may help someone else.  You have to be honest about your food intake.  So don't leave out grandmoms shortbread cookies you eat throughout the day.

Big Chicken pretty much covered it, but to reiterate.

I front load my carb meals, meals 1-4, to earlier in the day. My last carb meal is at 2:00 pm. (Except leg day. I add a cup of brown rice for dinner.)

None of the carb meals exceed 30 grams of carbs. Meal 1 - 24 g, meal 2 - 25 g, meal 3 - 14 g, meal 4 - 27 g.

I take 1200 mg of berberine with meal 1, meal 4 and before bed.

Fasted cardio every morning. Nothing special, 20-30 minutes.
If it doesn't scare you, it is not heavy enough.

I just changed up my diet to try and add more heavy weight to there bar.  I’m trying to get above 550 on my incline bench.  Right now, I am 295 and look more like a strongman than a bodybuilder at 49 years old.  I really want to lean back out to 10-12%.  I have been having issues because of my schedule with the holidays and both my kids and my wife had surgery and my sister just passed last week and its just been a shit show for a while.  Right now, I am pretty much eating like this:

1 - 10 eggs with turkey sausage and fat free cheese, salsa, and a cup of oatmeal.
2 - protein shake with a banana or apple
3 - meal prepped with about 45 g of carbs and protein each and 12-15 g of fat (roughly)
4 - same as 2
5 - same as 3
6 - same as 2

sometimes before bed I eat a protein cereal with about 45 g of carbs to stay through the night and some protein.


So the sweetest thing in my diet right now is natty peanut butter with sugar free jelly.  No other sugars and I don’t eat junk and my coffee is black.


The only sups are 300 mg of test a week and 2 ius of hgh ed.  I work out 6-7 days a week for an hour or so each morning.  I usually don’t do cardio but I can add it in.  My goal for years has been being the biggest and strongest and I really want to lean back out.  I just don’t know much about this aspect like I do the other.

The fasted cardio is arguable but IMO works. When I decided I wanted to get in my best shape ever, I hired a coach and all he had me doing was 12 minutes of HIIT...no kidding 12 minutes, 20 seconds all out and 40 seconds slow. After 2 weeks he upped it to14 minutes. My weight stayed the same (eating 6 times a day 7 oz chicken or fish & 200g, weight, of jasmine rice 5 meals with breakfast being 6 egg whites & 1 whole egg & 1/4 dry cream of rice w/ 1 cup h2o, nuke for 2 minutes) by body composition changed drastically in that 1 month. in 6 months he never increased me above 16 minutes of HIIT. So just a little cardio can make a big difference Para.

Para, you just having a party over there.  LOL LOL.  My question.  Do you have high sugar level concerns?  OR may I add high cholesterol?  Are you in competition?  Like what is your goal or concern for eating this way?

I don’t have any concerns with cholesterol or sugar.  No history of any cholesterol issues with me and none for diabetes or even pre diabetic.  My goal with this was keeping my ratios balanced to provide energy for growth but at 295, I am ready to lean out and I know nothing about the insulin issues and so forth so reading what you guys are posting, I am interested in making changes that will help me lean out.  I have no desire to compete, just wanna be leaner and maintain as much mass as possible.

There are very few people in this world who can get stronger while cutting and in every case I have seen it happen, it was due to them greatly increasing the gear they were using. Pound for pound I am a strong MF'er, but even I look back at weights I was pushing when I was 25 lbs heavier and I want to cry. Probably down 15% strength in all lifts, except legs.

Yes, I would clean up my diet.  It's work.  I'm sitting at 285 lb and some weeks high 290's.  But I am going to take her down this year.  Have two abroad GASP shows to work and model for in June and July.  Then I'm dropping weight.
