Their is actually wild hogs? Are they violent?  If you see them in the wild? Are do they run from humans?

I see videos and hear stories of them being violent and charging people, but they always run like a bat out of hell from me when I run into them in the wild.

Wanna go hunting real bad. Got a guy who says I can go pig hunting any time outside of deer season. So...

Go brother! They made it illegal to target hogs here on public land. I can take them incidentally while hunting other game with whatever weapon is legal at the time. The problem is I keep running into them when I am walking in with my bow. Most of the time I am underbrush too thick to pull off a shot.

Nice deer GF, now make me a sandwich, lol

Congratulations big man!

I forget, you process yourself? I always did my own.

Absolutely. You never know what you get when you have someone else process them for you. These have been hanging in the fridge and will be processed tomorrow. I am just going to do burger for these ones. Yes, I even grind backstrap and tenderloin.

Amazing!  So, I love jerky.  How do you prepare yours?   I have a few friends that do all prep.  All my friends here in USA are in different states.  he butchers that pre my wild game.  I never thought to ask them about jerky because we bring or have shipped from UK.  Since the invasion, I do not have fresh jerky 2022 hunt.

he sounds like a warrior and still has a keen eye.  I don't know him but I'd put my money he will see much more hunts.  (Good for him), Still kicking A_ _es and taking hides

Yeah he is a tough old man, he has lived hard his whole life and is still in good shape for an elderly man. He rode his Harley with NO WINDSCREEN to and from Tennessee from Tx before deer season to visit an old buddy. Then jumped in his truck to drive 6 hours for opening day with his hunting partner.

BTW, that jerky is GOOD!

Congrats brother, my father in law brought us a bunch of meat yesterday from a doe he killed. He is 72 and says he does not have too many more hunts left in him, dressing the carcass and carrying out the meat. I volunteered to help him.

I need at least two more deer to hold me over for the year if I keep shooting them this size. Last year I shot a buck that dressed double what these two does did. If I get a buck that size then I will be done for the year.

Woke up at 0300 did 30 minutes on the treadmill then walked around the woods all day. Killed two does, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Quarter them up and packed them out. I went fishing in the middle of the day and caught half a dozen crappie, a couple bass and a bunch of bluegill. It was a great day.
