Yeah, I'm mostly...mostly kidding. The particular guy I'm talking about is a nice enough guy.
That said, last night he showed up, in his usual No Bull shoes, N.B. socks, N.B. leggings with shorts over and a N.B. sleeveless. THis time, he had some new ink. I kid you not, it's the start of what is going to end up being the exact tribal art The Rock has on his arm/pec.

LOL, not to poke fun at people.  But I think there are dudes like that in every gym.  I never want to mock or poke fun at others but every gym i stay at long enough you will see someone in there like you explained.

Filled with items that get used, no problem. When I competed I had a bag with belt, wraps, chalk and such. I don't train in the same way anylonge so it's not needed.
However there is this guy. He keeps his stare straight and walks timidly. He's decked out head to toe in The Rock's no bull brand. He has a party pitcher size water bottle with motivational phrasing, and he has a gym bag large enough, he could backpack around the fuckin world in. Never so much as unzips it. Problematic.

Saw a guy the other day with a bag of gear. He did lat pulls with the hammer strength machine and used bar straps FOR 140 lbs!!!!!!!!!! (Had on a weight belt too.) I am an old skinny weak guy and can do deadlifts almost 2x my body weight with no straps or belt.

He was a fair sized dude. He probably has the grip strength of a 9 year old Girl Scout who's only strength training is handing over boxes of cookies.

Use gear when it is necessary, not because you own it.

That always kills me. Don't use the equipment until you absolutely need it. Why not build forearms and core while working back?

But we do have a couple, who bring their giant bags, sprawl them all over the gym floor (both of them) and you need to watch out and step around them, etc...

Exactly

I bring my bag, but I leave it off to the side where there's a rack/area for it. (The rack is on the gym floor).
I train Powerlifting style training, so I have my belts, wraps, Slingshot, "foam board press" and things like that.
I take things out as I need them.

I can’t train in a hoodie.  I hate it.  Can’t stand tight fighting clothing either...  Never could wear the Under Armor cold gear they used to issue either....  ugh I hate it.

I guess I am different.  I know what I am doing before I walk in the door and take what I need with me.  And I don’t wear spaghetti straps either..

I like training in hoodies until I and soaked then take it off to a tshirt most sessions or tank on back day because I hate a tshirt sticking to me. I live in Florida and it gets toasty but love to sweat in the gym.

If you are big enough you don't need the skinny tanks to show it off. I prefer when my veins are showing through my shirt. That looks impressive.

I gotta admit I do this. Like GF I have a shitload of stuff I carry around - wrist wraps, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves, Oly shoes, straps for deadlifts, etc... I try to pair it down to a small ass bag that's specific for the day but some days I just grab the whole thing and run. I lift enough though so I never hear anybody talk shit haha.

The one gym also has very sh*tty accessories and not enough of the ones they have. La Fitness, everyone I have ever gone to is a run down POS and needs an upgrade. Even the trainers there keep stuff locked up behind the counter. So I bring my own stuff a lot. An example...they have 1...yes ONE foam roller, 2 tricep extension ropes..just stupid stuff.

My pet peeve is f*ktars running around with no shirt thinking they are badasses. Typically a skinny runt.

I can see it if you need it, as I said.....  sometimes I have to shower and go straight to work as well.  I am more talking about the cats that carry a bunch of shit they don’t use around.  I’ve seen guys with 5lb tubs of Optimum in their damn bags....  mixing the shit on a flat bench like its a dining room table.....

Nope. That comes preloaded in the shaker and I just add water. Those guys are dumbasses.

Sadly I'm one of those guys. I used to never be but I don't trust the gym I train at to keep my shit in a locker. I've seen guys bitching that their locks were cut off. Now if I am going to the gym from my house and already in gym clothes, I just grab what I need and don't even take the bag. Or, if I go to the gym by my house and have to change, I leave it on top of a pigeon hole thing people put their stuff in because that gym is safe.

Hell at the non-trustworthy gym, people were hanging their car keys on hooks and thieves had people outside saying what a person looked like that drove a nice car. The person inside was watching them and if they hung up their keys, once they walked away the inside person took them and the people stole the car.

If they're under the age of 30, that bag is where they stash their weed, so they never let it leave their sight.

Haha. What do you want me to do? I got knee sleeves, elbow sleeves, wrist wraps, knee wraps, powerlifting straps, olympic lifting straps, powerlifting belt, weightlifting belt, (3) bands, logbook, headphones, mask (never know when traveling and you are in a blue state), GoPro and a logbook.

No, I grab what I need for the first 2-3 exercises then throw it in the locker.

I can somewhat relate to those wearing their belts for dumb shit. I recently tore my oblique being a dumbass. I was doing trap bar shrugs and usually when I pull anything over 315 lbs I throw a belt on. Well I was still warming up, so I didn't even think about it and had 405 lbs on the trap bar. When I pulled it up I felt it pop and tear. I finished my set, because Momma didn't raise no bitch. It felt funny, so I went and put my belt on then loaded the bar with 495 lbs. I was getting ready to give it a go, but didn't feel right and finally did the smart thing and unloaded everything. Been wearing a belt on all movements I think might strain my oblique since. Probably keep doing it for another week or so.

Why the hell do people bring a bag full of shit into the gym and carry it around if they don’t use any of it?  I mean, if you got shit in there you use then maybe I can see it but a whole fuckinig duffle bag full of shit?  Cmon.......

If i have to shower and then go to work, yeah, I bring clothes and shower gear but I leave it in the locker area.  Why bring a duffle bag full of every piece of gear you have and never pull it out of the bag?  Fucking people......

And STOP wearing a fucking weight belt to do push ups......   Jeez people, does anyone even know what the belt is for?  Am i the only person on this planet with any sense?

I need to up my test.......
