Easy come; easy go. One thing I learned about poor people is that if you don't make them work for it, they won't take care of it and will spend it carelessly and wind up in the same boat they were previously. Nothing against being poor....it's about being educate with money, which is why they are in that boat to begin with.
100% true from my anecdotal experience. I grew up in Atlanta, one of 7 white folk in my grade. Even as a kid I knew there were unwise decisions going on when I went over to peoples houses to hang out and saw expensive stereo and a badass 25" TV (This was awesome back then) But they had nothing to eat!
My fam drove a beat up old Dodge maxi-wagon cargo van with a couch in back for us kids. But we always had food.
See this with "rich" people as well. Sure, they have an expensive house and drive luxury vehicles, but they live paycheck to paycheck with massive amounts of debt. They are easy to spot amongst your friends too. They have all this expensive stuff, but can never afford to enjoy life.
While I am over here retired at 44 years old on a military pension, because I always lived like I was poor and saved my money.
I wish I had saved more. I was foolish with my money when I was young and I am learning the hard way.

Apparently the lawmakers in California disagree with you. They think the reason they are poor is because us whiteys have held them back. I guess Morgan Freeman and Obama are anomalies but whatever....

lol you guys are so mean... M2T lol.... ;D
I mean helping out black folks are good and all that but if it comes out of everyone else's tax dollars, that's gonna be bad.
also, it incentivizes people to not work, we've already had big problems because of cares act(covid fund), supply chain taken a big hit from it.
It's the real racists in the govt that wants to enslave the black using welfare system.
just evil in every way...

Reparations for black folk, only $325,000 per person AND for black owned businesses. Just read this. Let's look at the #s
Approx. 2.28 million black people in Cali at $325K per comes to...$741,000,000,000, Cali had a gross GDP of $3.37 trillion last year. Not including for businesses. The lunatics are running the asylum. Carry on my friends. Nothing but love regardless of what color you are but this is stupid.
