It took me 4 separate sittings to finish it. Good acting. Nice twist, but damn I could not stay awake every time. It was a good movie. I just don't recommend watching it when you sit down to "relax".
I found the pace similar to the Kevin Costner movie “Open Range”. Incredibly slow buildup but the ending was worth the pace to me.

I may check it out if I remember. The trailer looks suspenseful and I like Bale.
Does Bale do any movies these days where he doesn't look like he has been strung out on a cartel load of coke & meth for the last 5 years?

I tried watching. I couldn't get into it. Ii'll try again this weekend.
It is slow..... I said that and it really is. Its so worth the ending though and I personally never saw the ending coming. I thought it was really well done but yeah, its slow.

There is a new Netflix movie titled, “The Pale Blue Eye” that I actually enjoyed. It is a bit slow int he same way that Kevin Costner’s “Open Range” was slow but the buildup is quite necessary for the crescendo. I really enjoyed this movie and it actually references three works of Edgar Allen Poe who is one of the main characters in the film. Again, a bit slow for some but I really enjoyed it.
