I would go ahead and spend the extra few bucks and get the firestick 4K if you have or are going to get a 4K TV. Also it has .5GB more ram That .5GB will make a diff with buffering depending on your feed. I mean if they offered a car with 400 HP or 425  HP for only a couple bucks more, which one you gonna get?

I agree get the 4K firestick I didn't realize the link wasn't 4K. I usually just run to Target and get one they are right around the corner from me. Also like what was said a VPN is definitely helpful I'm surprised you don't use one already with your business.

Ok. So we are stuck in a office for 10-12 hours. I leave for gym and nap. But K won’t yo get this rolling. What box on Amazon should I buy?

1.  How long does it take to view

2. Should I google this on YouTube.?  I may need some help. We had something like this on our laptop. But some how the channel disappeared on us.  Is this common

For now just get a firestick.

https://www.amazon.com/fire-tv-stick-with-3rd-gen-alexa-voice-remote/dp/B08C1W5N87/ref=sr_1_3?crid=39GJ06ME7WR62&keywords=amazon+fire+stick&qid=1676062845&sprefix=firest%2Caps%2C133&sr=8-3

You should be able to set this up in 20 minutes max. Once you get the firestick I believe I can walk you through this with no problem

IPTV is an offshore service that gives you tons of content for a low price. I would reccomend running a VPN with it if you get it. You can add it to a firestick or roku or such. If I can do it, anyone can.

Bro!! Help a sister out. I have no idea wtf sland y'all are using. I currently only have Verizon Fios for internet, then shared hulu, netflix, prime.... the list goes on. The ex-husband DLs movies and tv shows then throws it on his plex server, but this sounds cheaper than the shit I'm paying for. When you say you get everything? We talking like hulu/netflix tv shows or just tv?

😘

just over 90 movie channels a shit ton of sport channels along with all the sport packages all the PPV's all the cable channels basically there's around 5000 channels. You know how to get ahold of me I can do it at your place or you can come here.

Everything MBK is saying is 100% correct and, I think, is the closest thing to just using a "regular" tv service (like xfinity, att, direct, dish, etc.).
Like others have mentioned, a lot of the other methods work, but it seems the users have to be pretty savvy about keeping everything updated and knowing where to find certain shows, events, etc., so there's more work to it.

For MBK's method you need:

Internet Service
Firestick
TV (will work on computer but not great)
The service. (you get thousands of live tv channels and/or VOD service)

You can pay to get the service to work on as many devices as you want, but I keep mine totally separate from the rest of the house, so no mistakes are made by someone else trying to use it. My wife is starting to use it more and more but she still likes going through the regular netflix, hulu, prime, etc. for some reason.
She keeps saying, "You don't know this service could stop at any time." And, I say, "You're right. And, you can keep paying a hundred plus dollars per month and still come over here to watch what's on mine."  LOL

Anyway, it's not perfect, but it's pretty damn good. I mainly use it to watch the fights (like MBK), and it's paid for itself multiple times over with just watching those. I'll give it 4.5 out of 5 stars. LOL

DaSarge you are one of the first I've done this for that didn't live close to me. I must have at least 50 people using the IPTV service I use and all of them love it.

Question mates?  Do I need to buy some type of box to operate the IPTV or a fire stick box as a receiver or just my laptop smart tv wll receive this service?

You can use your laptop I suppose. I like my firestick or roku as it is integrated and you can use the remote. We mirror on the TV from my son's laptop if we cannot get stuff like a boxing match or such.

So, years ago.  We owned a gym abroad.  One of our gym members connected our lab top to something on the internet.  Which did something like the Firestick I would have a movie night.   He moved away.  But after time the internet site we use to view movies on would no longer connect.  It would appear o e searching. But the channel never came back?  Is this how this Fire Stick works?  I was telling the wife and she said after time we may lose the services.  It's more like a question.  Would this have to be continuously downloaded or searched for a new site?

Kodi and IPTV will always be there. Just keep them updated. When Kodi first came out it was unstable, now it is way better as is IPTV, which we had but just did not need. Our son pays for netflix and we get HBO and some others with our cell phone service and then we pay for ESPN+. That is all we need.

Also have a digital antenna.  We get all the local channels and other stuff that is airwave broadcast. Honestly, I miss knowing a show was coming on at 7pm and if you miss it, well you miss it. Now everything streams and you can watch stuff any time you want. Also so damn much, I think providers are chunking out more but poorer quality content.

I use a WD Media player.  Its like a ROKU box that connects to my TVs (I have about 5 of these on various TVs).  It comes with a remote and it will read and play media files directly from my external hard drives.  I download movies, shows, music.....   anything digital, through torrents and of course running VPNs and what not, and then project them through the device and watch whatever I want.  I have been doing this a very long time and it works well for us.

I'm thinking about jumping in with (Worthystream)   Is this a good start?    Do I download this on y laptop?  Can I down load it on my TV's in the home?

I never used that IPTV service but it did get good reviews. I would have to do some research on how they download it. I imagine you can download it on a computer I never di it with mine I need a huge screen to see. Possible to install on the new smart tv's I'm not sure I use a firestick or android device/box

I have been using this IPTV service for at least 4-5 years. I was using another one before but the guy was making a shit ton of money and flaunting it on social media and internet along with his service needles to say he got wacked for tax evasion. He was buying a exotic car a month and flashing all kinds of money. The one I use now is private for reasons like that I'm sure. A IPTV service is also legal but you are actually just streaming TV

I will definitely remember that next time she has some solid neighbors in her community and for 90 she gets along impressively well. She retired last December as a nurse and for a short time was the oldest nurse still working in the US. I can only hope I have her drive if I make it to that age

I have the firestick 4k. I flashed it and can get all the channels and such. Many new movies are a pain but it works well enough. Rarely watch TV though.

Jipped are you using a IPTV service or Kodi with a build?

Kodi, had IPTV too. But git better stuff with kodi IMO. The reason I say new movies are a pain is many times you find them with subtitles you cannot turn off or filmed with a camera and then uploaded. It's all good. there are so few movies that come out I wanna see anyway. We are in the dark ages creatively. They cannot come up with new stuff, just get beloved movies and change the male protagonist to female and make it into feminist propaganda.

Kodi does give you more options but with a build you have to be savvy with how to manipulate it because it can get tricky. The IPTV service I'm using give me over 5000 channels and when the hurricane hit Florida I went to a local Ft Myers channel so I could keep a eye on things there because my mom lives there. The realdebrid does help with new movies to a point but somethimes you just have to wait to get non camcorded movies. It sounds like you know how to sideload so if you are interested I can steer you in the direction of the build I use and I can get you set up with the IPTV service I use also. Nice thing about the IPTV service no contract no commitment you just pay month to month I believe you do have the option to pay for multiple months also. My biggest reason for the IPTV is the PPV fights and getting all the sport packages included

you have been missing out for sure. I've been doing this for around 6 years if not more. Some of it is very easy some can be tricky but with the internet there's tons of information out there on how to do all this.

Dang you guys got the slang words down and everything.  I need to get started on this. It’s sounds like I’ve been missing out.

I have a "side loaded"...like that sound too MBK...because jailbreak is a simple change of a setting where the actual good stuff comes from what you load on it from there.

All my stuff is outdated and I need to redo it and am interested in what you do as well.

I'm going to shoot you a message I don't want to fill this thread up with questions that I have for you.

I am the guru of this subject. I have been going this route for at least 6 years now. You will still need a internet provider but not cable. I use a IPTV service and get something like 4000 channels I get all the sport packages and PPV included in this service. You can use a fire stick , fire cube or a android box. I was using a fire box (they don't make them anymore they upgraded to a fire cube) but late last year I upgraded to a Nvidia Shield android box. I only upgraded because I am working on getting it set up to be able to retro game on it. If you want shoot me a email or message me here and I can answer any questions you have. I hooked up DaSarge with this if he see's this post he can verify what I'm telling you. It does buffer at times but it's very minimal and for under 20.00 a month to get all this I have no problem if it does buffer slightly and hardly ever.

Anyone else that wants to go this route feel free to message me .

Can you guys tell me how to use a fire stick?  Also is their a better version?  I can google but I rather here from real users. What should we pay for one and where to buy a legit stick.

1. Do I need cable or just WiFi?

2. Why do people use a fire Stick over Csble?

3. Can I get world news. Not the propaganda news stations. I need around the world updates. Also stocks?

4. What are the down sides and positives.  I heard some movies are not clear or you can’t always get that movie channel next time?

5. Should we get rid of our cable?  Can you get the current tv shows?  My wife like the soap operas, cooking shows and the business channels.

Help me out please. We are stock in different private offices 10 or more a day. Answering our abroad pharma help lines. So we depend on watching tv. But variety is important. Our current cable with the paid movie channels and different country news like 375.00 per month.

Thank for any advise
