Title: Re: Beware of Low-Carb Cheat Days
Post by: Genetic Freak on February 03, 2023, 04:00:05 pm
Here is the thing when I listen or read stuff like this, the individuals used in the study were not bodybuilders. They were obviously people with fairly high BF content and already have problems with insulin. The fact that just switching to a low carb diet caused them to lose 15% of their bodyweight in 2 months tells me all I need to know about their health overall.

Someone who is single digit BF or near there who has been cutting with zero to no carbs often benefits from a high carb cheat after they have stalled. I do it all the time when I stall out. I will go out and crush 7000 calories in a day or maybe 14,000 calories over the weekend. After I shed the water weight about 5 days later, I am always down a pound or two.
