So wrong. Sounds like the Burn Pits older guys talk about.
Yep, every FOB or COP had a burn pit and since the FOBs and COPs were so small you basically lived right next to it, breathing it in all day long. Felt safer outside the base.

We called it vitamin M in the military. The doctors hand it out like candy. The daily dose on a container of Ibuprofen sold in a supermarket is 800 mg a day. The dose handed out by military doctors is 800 mg 4x a day. Yes, take 3200 mg a day for at least 30 days. Most of the time they give you 180 day supply. I probably took it for 15 years. They never told us it would fuck up our kidneys, they just said it might hurt your stomach, but if you didn't have any issues then it was no problem.

Yup. I know a few females who live on it and had so many stomach issuses.

I have to stay away from them due to CKD.
Also a close friend years ago had to rush to the ER, stomach was bleeding and throwing up blood. He had been taking Advil for years.
-
Yes. I know many that suck them down for any issue.

Great vid. this one taught me a lot. So ibuprofen sporadically is pretty benign but chronic use can cause probs.
