What do you think of Cream of rice?
Way too much iron unless you spend a little more and buy a brand that is not fortified with iron. If not, one serving has more iron than 12 oz of red meat.

Wild rice for me . Much more flavor .
I do wild rice in those packets from time to time just for variety and ease of prep.

Did not know that. I only eat rice a couple times a week. I really just like white rice better.

I gave up on brown rice. I eat regular white rice. It tastes better and any benefit brown rice might have is negligable. Plus, white rice has a way better texture.
Same here. Also, a few things people might not know about brown rice. The digestion is slower, because it is harder to digest. Some, if not all of the husk, may not be digested at all and it becomes impacted in your digestive tract. Eat brown rice for a couple weeks then take a diuretic and you will see floating husks in the toilet. Another thing, if you are living the bodybuilding lifestyle and consuming 300-500 grams of carbs in brown rice each day, you are likely causing a sodium/potassium imbalance unless you are consuming a lot of extra sodium. Finally, brown rice, due to its slower digestion could lead to indigestion issues.
