What's your water temp? when I'm on the East Coast. All I see or catch is those chain pickerel. Their skinny as heck. Only time I've caught perch and chain pickerel is through the ice. But the location I'm at since that damn invasion. It's only pickerel.
mid 40s. I am limited on where I can fish. Come March I will be in the good when the bass move shallow.

Hell yeah brother! Go out and have a great time on the water. I was going to do the same yesterday when it hit 68, but checked and the surface water temps were 35. Too cold for the kayak.
Not so much as a tap. But still had a good time chilling on the water. It has been warm here too I think the warm water has moved the fish shallow on main lake humps. I do not want to get far from shore when the water is in the 40s. I just tied up, cast out my plastic worm, lit a cigar and moved it a foot every few minutes.

Good advice boys. I am OK. Also he did not have proper insurance for a CDL driver. I am not sure and have not checked. It could have been he just did not have proof of said insurance. I am hoping that is the case.
I get the PD report today. I am pretty sure I was just in his blind spot, but he should have turned from the right lane, he even had a right turn lane. It was a mistake by him. Maybe i should have been more observant too and my truck might have had just a scratch and dent. I pride myself in being situationally aware as I ride motos but I get complacent in a cage.
I am off today, it will be alomst 70 degrees, gonna throw my kayak on my wifes SUV and go fishing.

Damn brother, happy you are alright. Getting beat up is something you enjoy, so if that is all you are feeling then it can't be too bad.
I see it the same way you do. If there are no lingering injuries and your vehicle is replaced then it is done. However, it also kind of comes down to the investigation results of the accident report. Why did the semi-truck hit you? I do not believe in accidents when it comes to human involvement in any case. There is negligence, but no accidents. What level of negligence was there that caused the collision? If the driver was grossly negligent like, texting while driving, driving recklessly or under the influence then I would absolutely sue them. The reason, it is the only way they will be held accountable for their negligence. The courts don't do it. They just slap them on the wrist and let them go. I would say just beat the shit out of them if there is gross negligence, but then you are the one going to jail, not them.

I’m glad you’re ok my friend. If you hurt or have an injury down the road. It would be good to sue. Your life and time is valuable. If you due. Your lawyer will add to the suit. If you have medical problems from the accident in a certain amount of time you can make them pay! All the insurance we pay for years. Nothing wrong with getting some money back. It’s just my thought. You don’t want to find out later on something is wrong with u from the accident and you will have to pay out of pocket. His insurance company will pay. Not yours.
I was in an accident and the guys insurance company called me and asked other than repaying my vehicle how could they make me hold. Since my whole day and week was ruin. They offered me 15,000 grand. I told them let me see doctor. Next week they told me they would replace my vehicle because frame appeared to be bit. They would send us a check for 20,000 and for two years if I had an issues medically they’ would cover. So a lawyer was never needed. Because lawyers take a 3rd. All these year I’ve never had an accident I m not going to lie. I excepted. We have 8 vehicles in different states. We have homes in. I pay so much money just for auto and home. I def excepted.
I wish you the best my friend. If I can help let me know.

Flipped my brand new pickup. One step above base model Tacoma. Less than 3K miles. His fault. I am pleased with my response as I kept my head the whole time. Never panicked. I just grabbed on, unbuckled and let my feet swing down, I even located my glasses on the passenger side (Bottom) first so I did not smash them. I cut the side airbag, opened the window, grabbed my stuff and climbed out. I will admit my heartrate was high but it is disconcerting to roll a vehicle.
I was sore yesterday but just feel like I sparred hard today which is normal.
Everyone says I should get a lawyer but fuck those ambulance chasing vultures, they get rich off my misfortune? HELL NO! I am OK, as long as my truck is replaced and nothing comes out of my pocket I am OK with that. They may repair it but I do not want that. I will fight for a significant sum on top of the repair for massive depreciation from a wrecked vehicle.
What do y'all think?
