Can you post this? Interesting.

I was about to say when I read the title, just about everything destroys mitochondria. However, there are a lot of things we can do the repair mitochondria health. Supplements like NMN or NAD+, inositol, COQ10 (ubiqinol), methylene blue, vitamin B complex, vitamin K2+D3, vitamin E, SLU-PP-332, MOTS-C, etc... Some of these are fairly cheap, but things like NMN, NAD+, Ubinqinol, Methylene Blue, SLU-PP-332 and MOTS-C can get pretty damn expensive. My mitochondrial health stack runs $350 a month.
Jeez. My whole supp budget is about $100 a month including protein powder and such. I recently started methylene blue. If I take too much I sleep like shit but I have it dialed in now. Feel great!
Need to get back on COQ10.
I like the methylne blue with L-theanine for that exact reason. I started at 5 mg once a day and peaked at 15 mg twice a day with 200 mg L-theanine, no issues. I will be pulling labs soon, as I want to see what it does to RBC/hemoglobin. Studies showed it significantly lowered (up to 10 pts) hematocrit in dogs.

Mitochondria can be damaged by a number of factors, including:
Environmental toxins
Exposure to environmental chemicals, such as air pollutants, heavy metals, pesticides, and endocrine-disrupting compounds, can damage mitochondria.
Medications
Many medications can damage mitochondria, including psychotropic drugs, stain medications, and analgesics like acetaminophen.
Nutrient deficiencies
A lack of nutrients can impair mitochondrial function.
Genetic mutations
Genetic abnormalities in mitochondrial or nuclear DNA can cause mitochondrial dysfunction.
Alcohol
When the liver processes alcohol, it produces acetaldehyde, a toxic molecule that can damage mitochondria.
Uric acid
High levels of uric acid in the body can instigate oxidative stress, which can damage mitochondria.
Mitochondrial dysfunction can lead to chronic disease and a shortened life expectancy. However, there are ways to protect mitochondria, such as avoiding toxins and taking natural health supplements.
