Going to a buddy’s family farm to get things ready for deer season. It’s bitter sweet tbh. I’ve always had places to hunt around the small town I grew up in. My buddies farm is about 2 hours away from what I consider home. His dad has cancer bad & may not even make it to deer season, he told my buddy since he won’t be hunting anymore he wanted Wally to take his place. My buddy said his dad cried when he was saying g this. Yes I have places I can hunt that are much closer but not as meaningful.

What timing, I just got off the phone with my buddy, he called as I was making this post.
