My daughter is having some medical issues right now and I don’t want to get into that yet, I will save that for when I can talk about it.
But..... she wanted to go see Taylor Swift in Atlanta in April and I spent 7 hours in a queue yesterday just to buy the damn tickets. MFrs scalping them already with their bots for thousands of dollars over the asking price. I realize we are in a free market and people can do what they wish but I would really enjoy getting some of those people in a room without windows for a few minutes......

Yeah, no doubt about it...it sucks!
A guy I used to work with had figured out some type of system to always get front row seats to all of the big name concerts.
He knew he'd be able to sell them at a profit, so it was almost like a side business for him.
He pissed some people off, but others were thrilled just to be able to get a ticket at any price.
No doubt, I get it. It’s just frustrating with all we have been dealing with and you can’t get a break on something like that. Again, free market economy but it doesn’t change the fact that I wanted to bash the living shit out of them after a few hours.... lol
At the end of the day, I got them the tickets and I’ve done worse things for far less value to me.

It sucks the way the scalpers can manipulate ticket releases. Oh to the days we stood in line for hours and hours in freezing conditions for tickets, lol.
The things we do for our kids, God love them!
As for Taylor Swift, her voice is like fingernails on a chalkboard to me...but if my daughter wanted them, I'd do it too or try, lol.
My niece is going through the same thing. Her and her friends spent hours trying to get tickets. Luckily some did and the parents had to go in together for the rest. Just feels like highway robbery.
Sorry to learn of your daughter's medical problems. I i'll pray for the best. I thought Taylor Swift had some sort of med issue herself now.
I don’t know anything about Taylor Swift except what one of my buddies told me about working her gig.
As for my daughter, she has some issues with her thyroid and they are suspicious that it may be cancer. We did a biopsy but it was inconclusive and so we are waiting on pathology now and it is tough to wait for these fuckers. My wife and daughter went to the surgeon today and scheduled her surgery for the 20th of December. The side they are removing is growing and they can’t give us an answer but they recommended removing it. I don’t really have any more answers at this point except to just try and be patient which is not a virtue I am known for. She’s 17 years old and its a tough thing for her to have to deal with at this point but she’s a strong young lady and its going to be ok. Appreciate the thoughts.
