We use to net shad. Lot of states I go to do not allow netting anymore?

Legal here. We use a cast net for them,

So much rain! Lake is WAY up, cannot even get out to the boatslip without wading through thigh deep water. I went out a coupld nights ago and was trying the berkley gilly bait. I caught one 14 incher.

I took my son out when he was home on leave. He targeted crappie and did well. I went after bass with the frog. It was slow going at first, but I figured out the pattern they wanted and started tearing them up. Biggest was probably 5 lbs. I could fit my entire fist in her mouth, which I had to in order to pull the frog out of the back of her throat. He flew back to his unit, so I am back to bodybuilding.
If it doesn't scare you, it is not heavy enough.

Sorry I am trying to upload some, but the attachment size doesn't allow me to. I reduced their size to 10% of their original and they are still too large of a file.

No, I dropped it to 10% not by 10% and it still is too large. I think my phone camera is 42 megapixels or some shit like that. Pictures are like 8 mb or more per picture.

Cheating but I've fish for large Blue gill and Punkinseed and a bass grabbed my catch.  Snapped the light line.  I switched up to my  bass setup. caught a bluegill.   He grabbed the next bluegill I had on my bass setup.  That's all she wrote.  The rest was history.

Went last night with a buddy who has only been bass fishing 2 years. He caught a 5! His new PB and he is stoked! It was windy and had a lot of probs positioning the boat I got skunked. I had a gar at the boat but I shook it loose.

Long nose or alligator gar? Those alligator gar can be fun to hook, but once you get to the kayak it is like WTF do I do now. Haha. Most people are concerned with the teeth, but the scales are what will tear your ass up. Sharp as a knife and always thrashing.
