Their not all sea bass,  Their toug.  We catch on green crabs.  Google Toug or Black fish.  Look at the size and the teeth on those suckers.  They can open clams.  jaws are strong.  We get them from Atlantic ocean.  This time of year, their hanging around the docks with sea bass and striper

Yes, me and a couple mates went out today.  Just before out going tide.  Caught nothing.  Between the 5 of us.  We spent well over 800.00.  Gas up was 355.00.  bait, green crabs, spots.  Rigs ect was a bad day.

The bait places do not lower their gas prices.  Gas for our hogs are 2.47 per gallon.  Well down from the 3.95 last year.   We are trying again Monday.  just for stripers.  Today the tide was way high. It was Well over the floating docks limited.  The wind picked up around 1400 hrs.  From there it just got worst. 

We peeled off the skin or most of the skin from our Kentucky fried chicken.  We each had our own (buckets).  We were pretty far out but not far enough for those rats with wings.  They were deep diving for the skin before it sank.  I'm pretty sure it was a shark.  It damn near swallow most of the flock of birds that were floating and diving for the chicken skin.  I'm sure the smell of the chicken and fat brought sharks to the area.  I didn't know they would bum rush a flock of birds.  But it was wild to see.

Went down to the Texas gulf to Port O'Connor for some fishing. My curse remained. Huge storm and front moved through in the night dropping temps 15 degrees and left us with a wind howling from the north east at 25 mph.

Caught nothing of note from the jetty or pier. Went out with a charter right after the front. Hard fishing. I still got a 27 and a 25 inch red on light tackle as well as some puppy reds and some descent black drum. Came home with several lbs. of fish.

All in all a fun trip, BTW these were my first reds and black drum. I have never caught them before. I was in terrible pain from wrecking my bike and refused to go to doc. Lots of walking and standing. My buddies put up with me being slow and gave me hell the whole time which I appreciate. My hip is looks like I have half a nerf football under my skin and is tight as a drum and hot to the touch. The pain is not bad when not moving but if I activate that muscle, the pain is stunningly bad. Going to doc today. One of my pals never fished salt before and was having a blast catching gafftop and hardheads. But when he hooks a bog black drum that is all he wanted after that. Our other buddy is not a good fisherman. But he managed to boat 1 keeper. We got back to the dock and the guides were all talking about how bad fishing was. They were pumping our guide for info. We made a LONG run in the marshes after spending an hour without a bite close in with the other charters. It was still slow but steady.

Gonna plan another trip in sept or oct.

I went yesterday to a private pond. It was pro managed. Caught 20+ bass each between 2-3 lbs. The owner told us to keep what we caught to thin the population so they will grow bigger. We did keep 12 for a little fish fry and my pal cleaned them. My buddy who is friends with the owner stated this was a slow day. Still incredible day for me. these fish looked fat and healthy. I guess they skinny up come summer as there are too many in the pond. It is about 12 acres of bass heaven!

Sounded like fun.  With all the crazyness going on abroad.  I'm going to be tied up to keep business float.

This political crap is causing massive supply shortages.  I'm traveling establishing business partners ect. 

Catch some for me.  At least no one can mess up our fishing. (yet).

I had a minor surgery on my hip yesterday after my motorcycle accident. I am supposed to fish a tourney thursday. I may still do it

I am, feeling damn good. I did fish the tourney. We came in second with one 13 inch bass.  Only 2 fish weighed in. Mine and a guy who had a 2 pounder. Hard fishing but fun. I feel better bro.

We went last night. Sandbass fishing. Nothing for two hours then furious every cast getting hit until we got tired of catching
