Proper use of Andriol Capsules
« on: October 09, 2025, 10:22:20 am »
Andriol Testocaps contains Testosterone as its active ingredient, with a dosage of 40mg. It belongs to the Androgen group and is used to supplement Testosterone levels, helping to improve sexual function in men with disorders.

1. What is the effect of Andriol Testocaps?
Andriol Testocaps is classified as an androgen and a related synthetic drug. The main active ingredient in this medication is testosterone, with a dosage of 40mg.

Supplementing with testosterone helps to improve testosterone deficiency in both younger and older men. However, the recovery ability depends on the dosage. In addition to enhancing sexual function, it also improves erectile function and increases libido.

Besides increasing testosterone levels, Andriol also helps to increase muscle mass, and bone mineral density, and reduce fat.

For diabetic individuals with hypogonadism, testosterone supplementation with Andriol Testocaps can help improve insulin sensitivity and/or lower blood glucose levels.

In boys with delayed physical development and puberty, treatment with Andriol helps stimulate growth and the development of secondary sexual characteristics. For women who have undergone oophorectomy (removal of the ovaries), when combined with estrogen therapy and testosterone supplementation with Andriol, it helps to improve sexual desire, increase muscle mass, and enhance bone mineral density. For individuals undergoing gender transition from female to male, treatment with Andriol has masculinizing effects.

With the aforementioned effects of testosterone, Andriol Testocaps is formulated as a soft capsule and is indicated for testosterone replacement therapy in men with primary or secondary hypogonadism, whether congenital or acquired.

Specifically, testosterone supplementation therapy with Andriol is indicated for men with primary or secondary hypogonadism in conditions such as:

After orchiectomy (removal of the testes);
Hypogonadism;
Hypopituitarism;
Impotence due to endocrine issues;
Infertility caused by sperm production disorders;
Decreased libido and lack of vitality.
Additionally, Andriol Testocaps can also be used to treat osteoporosis where the underlying cause is androgen deficiency.

2. Dosage and administration of Andriol Testocaps
Andriol Testocaps 40mg is taken orally, preferably with food to ensure optimal absorption. The capsule should be swallowed whole with a sufficient amount of water.

The specific dosage for Andriol Testocaps 40mg is as follows:

Initial dose: 120 - 160mg per day, taken for 2 to 3 weeks.
Maintenance dose: 40 - 120mg per day, adjusted based on the clinical response during the first few weeks.
For the recommended daily dosage, patients should divide the dose into two parts: one half in the morning and the other half in the evening.

For Andriol and any other medication, patients should consult their doctor to determine the appropriate dosage based on their physical condition and disease progression, to avoid self-administering a dose that is too high or too low.

Overdosing on Andriol Testocaps may cause gastrointestinal discomfort due to the castor oil component. In such cases, supportive treatment is required.

3. Side effects of Andriol
Andriol may cause some unwanted side effects, such as water retention, acne, skin itching, increased red blood cell count, high blood pressure, nausea, muscle pain, mood swings, anxiety, depression, prostate issues, erectile dysfunction, reduced sperm count, gynecomastia (enlarged breasts in men), and changes in liver function tests.

If any unusual symptoms occur after using Andriol, patients should promptly report them or contact their doctor/pharmacist.

4. Precautions when using Andriol Testocaps 40mg
Andriol Testocaps should not be used by individuals who are hypersensitive to any of its ingredients, have a history of liver cancer, or have or are currently suffering from breast cancer or prostate cancer.
Before starting treatment with Andriol, patients should undergo regular monitoring every quarter during the first year of use, and annually thereafter. This includes: a prostate check through PSA testing and a physical examination, as well as monitoring for polycythemia by measuring hematocrit and hemoglobin levels.
Discontinue treatment with Andriol Testocaps in individuals with a history of liver disease, kidney disease, or heart disease if signs of edema occur, whether with or without congestive heart failure.
Monitor and discontinue Andriol treatment in patients with a history of liver failure, kidney failure, heart failure, migraines, hypertension, or seizures to prevent recurrence of the condition or progression to more severe disease.
Individuals with chronic lung disease or at risk of obesity should use Andriol Testocaps with caution.
High doses of Andriol in prepubertal boys should be used cautiously and monitored closely, as the medication may promote the growth of bones and sexual function.
Pregnant or breastfeeding women should not use Andriol Testocaps due to limited research data on this group. If pregnancy occurs, treatment should be discontinued.
Andriol may interact with the following medications: it may increase or decrease testosterone levels when used with enzyme inducers or inhibitors; improve glucose tolerance while reducing insulin requirements when used with diabetes medications; and increase the anticoagulant effects when used with Coumarin drugs, so the dose of Coumarin should be reduced.
When used with corticosteroids or ACTH, Andriol may cause increased edema. Therefore, caution is needed for patients with liver disease, heart disease, or those at risk for edema.
Andriol may alter certain thyroid function test results, but this does not indicate thyroid dysfunction, and there is no evidence proving this effect of Andriol.
The purpose of Andriol Testocaps is to improve sexual function in men with primary or secondary hypogonadism, whether congenital or acquired. You should use the medication according to your doctor's instructions to ensure safety and maximize the therapeutic effect.
