A lot of mates use it for that very reason.

Yea I’ve just been in and out of US. But my condo is off the beach. I’m watching guys docked on the edge of the rocks. Their pulling them in all day long.  As far as taste. They must be prepared right. They are very fishy if not.  But if cook right. It’s nothing but neat.  Both small and large ones are meaty.
