Yes and no, I think doctors are just ignorant. They are taught wrong.

Dr Ken Berry is a keto/carnivore guru but some of his stuff he puts out is just dumb.

You are absolutely right brother. Most doctors stop educating themselves the minute they finish school. My PCM at the VA doesn't even try and counsel me anymore, as he knows I am well educated and always have a retort with scientific evidence. I don't try and make him look stupid, he does it for me.

I love it when my PCP, a fat lady tries to tell my what to eat and guide me on diet. I normally see her PA who is HOT! She is so cool and we always spend way too much time talking about working out and such. I respect her but not the fatty doc.

Hell, they are still taught about the food pyramid in school. We know that is bullshit.

Here is an article on Ancel Keys. the guy behind the food pyramid. He cherry picked data from his studies to get the results he wanted...hmmmmm I wonder who else does that? Big pharma? If they agree in a liberal rag like this, it is something we can agree on.

I heard Dr. Todd Lee talk about how they receive a single 30 minute lecture on nutrition when going through med school. Kurt Havens, a doctoral candidate, confirmed that is all he received as well.

My PCM likes to bring up the American Medical Journal recommends we consume no more than 80 grams of protein a day. I told him that was written in 1965 and the most recent information released by the government organizations state athletes should consume between 1.4 to 2.2 grams of protein per kg of body weight, which for me would be almost 3 times what he is quoting on the higher end. He just states, he hasn't heard that. That information came out in 2016... Seven fricken years ago. What a douche.
If it doesn't scare you, it is not heavy enough.
