My son and I were talking about this last week. He watched a vis as to why so many folk have back probs. We sit in chairs. I cannot do heavy squats anymore so I do a ton of volume with a 45# plate hugged to my chest or sometimes goblet squats or regular DB squats. I did leg press and isolation stuff for my legs without squats for the longest. I am way better off now. Stronger hips, core legs even without weight.
I cannot get that low where my butt touches my ankles like my Thai friend but I am not that far away.
