Changed my Workouts for Next 6 -8 weeks.
« on: January 14, 2023, 06:39:45 pm »
My partner is here from UK until March.  Last week changed my workout routine.  Instead of heavy squats and Bench Presses.  All my exercises will be using a weight I can control and contract the muscle up and down.  It's been seven days. We are both really sore.  So, we are taking off Sunday.  We are doing 3 days on and two days off.  I needed the change.  I'm only doing 1/4 of what I normally would lift.  No force reps or cheat help reps.

I am really sore.    We are doing fasting cardio and will stop eating by 1800 hrs  I lowered my HGH to 2 iu  5 days.  I was going for 7 days 4 iu, but I was retaining water around my ankles.  I switch from spectrum HGH to nords and still retain water.  So, I'm going to drop down to 2 iu.   I'm lowering the test for a few weeks.  Add HCG for a few weeks, then go back on the test slowly.

I need a change.  Sittig at 265-270. 270 after breakfast.    The doctor will be happy weight-wise.  Hopefully, I'll be able to talk without sounding like Milos Sarcev. His breathing is bad.

Will see.  I need a change.

This is exactly where I have been lately.  I dropped the weight and put focus on the contraction and bumped my reps up into the 20 range for a while and man, what a change.  I with it up pretty regularly but dropping the weight and upping the reps and really focusing on control and contraction has made a huge impact in my changes.

Keep me posted.

I have a hard time getting away from heavy barbell training, but it is good to change things up when needed.
Joint recovery, different stimulus, etc. I throw in a "light deload week" as some call it, every 8-10 weeks or when needed...

I had to delay this after four weeks, due to the recent US and Ukraine deaths abroad.  I could not get the meals prepped.

I have some body parts that grow from going balls to the wall with horrible form. Just push the most amount of weight I can for 12-15 reps. Back thickness and quads are like this. Then there are other body parts, back width, biceps and chest, where I need complete control to grow. I am sure there are dudes who are like, WTF, that guy is big, but he is barely lifting anything. However, if they came over and performed the rep in the same manner, they would see how hard that rep is with that weight.
If it doesn't scare you, it is not heavy enough.

I was just telling someone how each person's DNA is different.  He was telling someone how much stuff he use.  Guy who was next to him worksout three days a week less gear.  His muscles are full. The saying if I do steroids I can be big as the next guy isn't true.

Aint that the truth. I could never get big. At one point I did big doses and trained along with a couple of NPC pros. Nothing I did got me to even half of their gains. I have a thin frame. It just will not allow me to put on big mass.

Sometimes you just have to take what God/biology gave you.

I love switching it up at times. You are hitting 2 different muscle fibers (slow twitch vs fast twitch muscles) each has it's own roll. Interesting fact when astronauts who are in space with zero gravity for extended periods of time come back to earth they have no strength at all from the zero gravity. First thing the trainers do is very light slow controlled training to get them back in the groove.
